"Managing the New World Order"

Canceling my terrestrial landline and going 100% VOIP has thrown my Alarm Company into a tizzy as the process of seizing the line to make an emergency call has changed.

I theorize that the so called “no call list” as touted by the Feds only affects those legitimate organizations surviving waay above the bar.

Any "No Call List" is virtually worthless without a major campaign by law enforcement to crack down on the Hordes of more nefarious telemarketers that have discovered remote dialing services that use predictive dialers with outgoing voice messages to get the mark (You) to push a button which will connect them to the call center where a telemarketer can deliver the pitch.

These are separate and distinct organizations. One calls you. The other delivers the pitch and makes the sale. SPAM rules apply.

Apparently the dialing service from Mongolia is actually the one calling you. When you hit 3 to be removed from the list you are connected to the telemarketer. YOU ARE CALLING THE CALL CENTER.

There may not be an actual "List" They may be calling every possible number in a region. They may do it again tomorrow. There may not be a "List" to be removed from. Certainly the front man, that is to say the rep you get connected to has no way to get you off the list even if he placates you with a statement that he can or will get you off. Regardless of what you are told, no one cares about getting you off a list.

This is plausible deniability at its finest. Forget about turning in the dialing service. Who are they? They employ a caller ID spoofing scheme en masse. You’ll have to purchase the warranty for your car or the vacation timeshare to see who is really behind this scam………

...........Or you could try call filtering from your end !
